Musical memories

The White Rock branch of the Royal Canadia Legion was a-jitter with tributes last week, in honour of Remembrance Day.

Dressed in period attire, Natsuko Murao  – from Jitterbug Junkies – takes to the dance floor at the White Rock branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, while Surrey’s Twice Shy (Colleen Durdon and Gail Hawksworth) perform songs from the 1940s and ‘50s on Remembrance Day Friday.

The groups got together to honour veterans’ sacrifice by performing favourites from the era.
