Peninsula naturalists focus on raptors

Raptors are the focus of an upcoming event hosted by White Rock and South Surrey Naturalists.

White Rock and Surrey Naturalists will host a raptor-focused evening next week at Elgin Hall.

The Oct. 13 presentation – Raptors Revealed – will be led by career naturalist Al Grass.

In addition to learning about the range of raptor species that call the Lower Mainland home, attendees will receive "helpful hints for their identification and enjoyment."

The presentation is set for 7:30 p.m. at the hall, located at 14250 Crescent Rd. There is no cost and all are welcome.
