A group of local potters is holding a three-day show and sale in South Surrey to help benefit the BC Cancer Foundation.
Grandmother Hanne Andersen and five colleagues will be displaying their wares at 2071 174 St., Oct. 26-28.
Some of the participants are battling cancer or have lost loved ones to the disease.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the foundation, which is the fundraising partner of the BC Cancer Agency and the largest charitable funder of cancer research in the province.
The pottery show hours are Friday 3-7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
