Santa greeted by ‘adopted’ kids

Retired Surrey firefighters Richard Crowe (right) and kids escort Santa Claus into the Tong Louie Family YMCA on Dec. 8 to celebrate the get-together for Surrey Firefighters’ Adopt-A-Family program and toy drive.

Firefighters adopted 21 Surrey families this year, providing them with food and toys.

Extra families were also brought in from North Delta this year with the help of North Delta Minor Football.
