South Surrey school celebrates anniversary

Ocean Cliff Elementary opened its doors 25 years ago.

Students, teachers, parents and faculty of past and present gathered at Ocean Cliff Elementary earlier this month to celebrate the school’s 25th anniversary.

The celebrations took place Sept. 18 at the 12550 20 Ave. school, and featured presentations by the original principal, Wayne Morris, a performance by Grade 4 and 5 students on taiko drums, a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the school’s brand new playground and a Family Fun Fair organized by the school’s parent advisory committee.
