A group of teens returned from their trip to El Salvador, where they built homes for Habitat For Humanity, with a wealth of experience.
The 10 Semiahmoo Peninsula students travelled to the Central American country in March through their church, Crescent United, with boxes of donated goods.
The church has long had a close relationship with the small community of Tierra Nueva, which they visted at the start and end of the trip, after wrapping up five days of work.
