Surrey children who have wanted to try their hand at tennis have the perfect opportunity at a community family day June 24 at Crescent Park Elementary.
Organized by Surrey Little Aces, the event is a way to introduce children under the age of 12 to the sport of tennis with a scaled-down format that uses age- and skill-appropriate equipment and court sizes.
The Surrey Little Aces Project is the result of a partnership with Tennis BC, the City of Surrey, the Surrey School District and community organizations.
The free family day is set for noon to 3 p.m., and is to include activities such as tennis instruction. Crescent Park Elementary is located at 2440 128 St.
