White Rock Firefighters' annual Breakfast with Santa event served up more than a little Christmas spirit.
Along with heaps of pancakes, sausage and bacon, the popular Dec. 5 event – more than 700 breakfasts were served at the 15th annual, four-hour soiree – collected donations of new, unwrapped toys.
The gifts – more than 200 – were delivered to Sources Community Resource Centres, and distributed to those in need.
Funds raised at the breakfast benefit local charities and the Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund.
