Inclement weather is doing little to dampen spirits at The Rotary Club of White Rock's 32nd annual book sale this week.
In fact, it just might be good for business, said Rotarian Virginia Lange.
Lange is among volunteers helping with the week-long sale, which is on at Semiahmoo Shopping Centre through Sunday (March 9).
Thursday, seniors Gladys and Gerry Sankey were among those who checked out the offerings during an escape from the afternoon rain.
Books that will appeal to a plethora of interests can be had for $2 each or three for $5.
Proceeds will help the club in its goal to raise $50,000 over the next two years towards the purchase and installation of an elevator at Source's White Rock/South Surrey Food Bank.
