Two White Rock dancers are making all the right moves during a residency with renowned Canadian performer Jennifer Mascall.

Elissa Hanson and Jessica Wilkie will participate in the Bloom residency offered at the dance studio Mascall founded in 1992.

As part of the residency, participants perform in the Bloom series, which has two remaining shows on May 21 and 28 in Vancouver’s West End.

Since 1994, the series has allowed emerging choreographers to apply for training, mentoring and editing by Mascall. Over four performances, the work is presented to the public.

Both Hanson and Wilkie are graduates of Modus Operandi in Vancouver.

The series will continue tonight at Mascall Dance Studios, 1130 Jervis St.

Tickets are $10 and include a glass of wine during the show.
