CARP (formerly the Canadian Association of Retired People) will hold an outdoor South Surrey-White Rock all candidates forum – particularly aimed at local seniors – Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. at Bakerview Park (1845 154 St.).
Confirmed candidates attending will be Gordie Hogg (Liberal), Kerry-Lynne Findlay (Conservative), June Liu (NDP) and Gary Jensen (People’s Party of Canada).
Participants are asked to bring a face mask, but for those who forget, one will be provided. Seating and refreshments will also be provided by CARP.
