Ingrid Marie Bech Rasmussen Lysholm

December 2, 1913 - September 24, 2001
In Loving Memory of our Farmor. She was born in Kolding, Denmark which is where she met and married her husband Georg (our Farfar) on November 14, 1936.
Since he had gone ahead to get work, she immigrated to Canada with their two sons Per (dec.d 2016) and John aboard the freighter Bow Brazil. They arrived in Saint John, New Brunswick on October 12, 1953 and from there travelled to B.C. by train.
She got a job in a fish cannery and learned to speak and read English. They lived in Tahsis, Vancouver, Steveston, and White Rock.
Farmor loved to have things meticulously clean and looking nice. She always set a beautiful table and made a delicious Danish Smorgasbord. Meals around the table always saw Farfar in dress pants and more often than not in a suit.
They were married until his passing on February 25, 1998 in White Rock, B.C.
We love and miss you Farmor.
Love your grandchildren Elaine,Wayne, Kevin, Yvonne, Jeffrey, & your son John.
