Many benefits for Camp A members

The toddler years can be a wonderful time of growth, learning and discovery but they can also be challenging.

Positively Parenting... Your Toddler is an interactive program for parents and caregivers of children ages eight months to three years that addresses child development, temperament and emotional literacy, with discussions on how to promote positive behaviour in your little ones.

Tuesdays, April 5 - May 10, 6:30-8:30 p.m., $30 for six weeks. For more information and to register, please call Cindi at 604-538-5060 ext. 23.

Our membership year runs from April 1 to March 31, but any time is membership time and we welcome new and renewing members every day. The cost is $15 for individuals or $20 for couples or families. All members receive our monthly newsletter as well as special member rates on some activities.

Alex House is one of the oldest agencies on the Semiahmoo Peninsula, providing a respite by the sea for Vancouver’s orphans who first came to the Camp Alexandra site  in the late 1890s, and your membership helps us to maintain our historic buildings. Your membership helps supplement funds we receive from foundations, service clubs, government agencies and individual donors.

And you become part of the Neighbourhood House movement, which strives to build safe, inclusive communities where people have a sense of belonging and know that they have the ability to make a difference in their own lives, in their neighbourhood and in their community.

So put on your running shoes and hurry down to the beach, or just call us at 604-535-0015 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to complete your membership over the phone.

On Tuesday, Apr 12  join us at Mini-Camp  for supported adults as we travel around the world for a day of making new or meeting old friends, crafts, beach fun, sports and entertainment.
