It is almost time to register for winter 2017 programs.
Members register this Friday, Nov. 25; non-members register Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Get your membership now for only $38 and receive priority registration, reduced course fees and the chance to take part in over 16 activity groups at Kent Street Activity Centre.
• Hope to see everyone come down to the Kent Street Activity Centre’s annual general meeting on Monday, Nov. 28 at 2:30 p.m.
Activity reports will be presented and two members at large will be elected.
To add to the fun afternoon, there will be refreshments, entertainment and a draw for a free one-year membership.
• Tickets are going fast for the Mistletoe Luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 8, noon to 3 p.m., for Kent Street members and guests.
This festive gathering is complete with a delicious meal, fabulous entertainment and door prizes.

• Christmas on the Peninsula returns to the White Rock Community Centre and other locations throughout White Rock and South Surrey this Saturday, Nov. 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• The Kent Street auditorium is open Wednesday evenings, 7:30-10:30 p.m., for all those 50-plus who enjoy social dancing to live music.
On stage this week is Quartette.

• Why wait until the New Year to get started on a new you?
Movement 4 Fitness is a gentle exercise program that includes cardio and strength training, and no floor work. Exercises can be done seated. Classes are the first three Mondays in December at 1:15 p.m. at the Centre for Active Living.

• A stencils and silhouettes workshop will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4, 1-4 p.m., at the White Rock Community Centre.
Join artist and designer Jeff Kulak, working on a series of rain activated artworks in celebration of White Rock’s 60th birthday.
Create a paper-cut image based on how you want your city to feel, what you love about White Rock and what kind of changes, if any, you want to see.
This workshop is free but requires pre-registration by calling 604-541-2199.
