Register early to ensure your spot. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 19.

Learn how exercise and vitamin supplements can strengthen your bones at the Healthy Bones workshop on May 19, from 10-11:30 a.m.

Have your bone density checked to see if you are at risk for bone loss, plus discover how a healthy lifestyle can prevent osteoporosis.

Healthier You workshops are held at the Centre for Active Living and are free for members.

The next Introduction to Photography class starts on May 25 at 7 p.m. at the White Rock Community Centre.

Learn all the skills needed to create award-winning photographs.

If you are an experienced photographer looking to learn more innovative techniques, Advanced Photography classes start May 17 at 7 p.m.

Register now to learn more about depth of field, advance flash techniques, and technical composition and light.

Workshops are for both digital and film camera users.

The Kent Street Dining Club meets on the last Tuesday of every month at a local restaurant.

This informal group is a great social outing and a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends.

Join us in the Kent Street auditorium Wednesday night for social dancing to the sounds of Impact.

Doors open at 7 p.m. with dancing to live music from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets can be bought at the door.

All crafters are welcome to join Kent Street’s Stitch and Chat activity group every Friday from 1-3 p.m. at the activity centre.

A reminder that the Kent Street Activity Centre will be closed on Monday, May 23 for the Victoria Day holiday.
