Police are seeking a vehicle similar to this one in relation to a murder last month.

Acura linked to last month’s murder

Police believe the vehicle, and two occupants, would have been travelling around Joe Brown Park in mid-September.

  • Oct. 10, 2013 2:00 p.m.

Police have now identified a vehicle of interest in relation to the killing of a man in Joe Brown Park last month.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is now  seeking a suspect vehicle believed to be a 2007-2012 Acura RDX, dark in colour, with chrome door handles.

The vehicle, with male occupants, would have been driving around the area of Joe Brown Park, at 123 Street and New McLellan Road, late on Sept. 17 and into the early morning of Sept. 18.

That was when Ezar “Ace” Khan was killed. His body was found in the park on the morning of Sept. 18 at about 7:30.

While the motive has not been  confirmed, investigators believe this killing is linked to the drug trade as Khan has been battling drug addiction for many years.

IHIT continues to ask anyone who may have information about the homicide of Ezar Khan to contact the IHIT Tipline at 1-877-551-4448, or, to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477
