A Wisconsin man wanted in Colorado for bribery was jailed in Blaine last week, after U.S. border officers at the Peace Arch crossing linked a southbound traveller to an arrest warrant.
According to a news release issued Dec. 21, the 28-year-old was detained the day before for extradition to Summit, Colorado.
“Bribery is a serious crime and officials in Colorado are awaiting his return, so that he can face the pending charges,” area port Director Kenneth L. Williams said in the release.
