TransLink has confirmed a new bus service will link White Rock and South Surrey with Langley by the end of April.

"With the April 23 service adjustment, the 531 White Rock Centre/Willowbrook will go into service," TransLink information officer Drew Snider said last week.

The route will travel from 152 Street and Thrift Avenue, up 152 Street to 24 Avenue, then east on 24 Avenue through the Grandview Corners area to 192 Street.

From there it will travel up 192 Street to 32 Avenue, passing through the Campbell Height business area to 200 Street.

It will the travel up 200 Street to Willowbrook, Snider said – not Langley Centre as had been earlier reported.

Snider said the route will be served by a standard-sized 40-foot bus and buses will run every half hour from 5:50 a.m. to 8:50 p.m., seven days a week.
