One in grave condition in south Langley shooting (updated with video)

All three men shot are from Surrey and known to police. No suspects have been identified.

Shots rang out in a quiet Brookswood neighbourhood leaving three men injured, one sent to hospital in grave condition on Thursday, June 11.

Around 2:30 a.m., Langley RCMP started receiving calls about shots being fired at a home in the 2500 block of 204 Street.

When they arrived, three men had been shot inside a home, two with less serious injuries. One has already been released from hospital.

The third man has life threatening injuries.

All three men are from Surrey, known to police and are not residents of the home where the shots were fired. Two men are 22 years old and one is 29, said police.

“These two men have not been overly co-operative with police,” said Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Largy.

Police have no suspects and very little information to go on. It’s unclear if the shooting is tied to the drug war shootings going on in Surrey.

Police wouldn’t confirm whether a marijuana grow op was found inside the home.

RCMP said there wasn’t an illegal grow operation there, but as a policy, police don’t confirm locations of medicinal grows.

If you have any information that might assist police with this investigation, call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 or if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or text BCTIP.
