Surrey RCMP are seeking a suspect in a Monday afternoon bank robbery in South Surrey.
Police were called to Westminster Savings at 1608 152 St. just after noon on July 13.
According to police, no weapon was produced and no one was injured.
The suspect – who fled before police could arrive – is described as a white male, in his mid-20s to mid-30s, with a stocky build and tattoos on the knuckles of his left hand. He was wearing a green New York Yankees hat with white stripes, a tan-coloured, long-sleeved, collared shirt, black-and-grey camouflage shorts and white running shoes.
Westminster Savings was closed Monday afternoon while police investigated.
