Snowbirds thrill spectators with show over White Rock

Canadian Forces air squadron performs aerial acrobatics to benefit the CHILD Foundation.

The Snowbirds aerial team performed for charity over White Rock on Wednesday. The Snowbirds is a Canadian icon comprised of serving members of the Canadian Forces. Their pilots and technicians work as a team to bring thrilling performances to the public to demonstrate the skills inherent in the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Canadian Forces.

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds (431Squadron) performed dazzling aerial acrobatics over White Rock Wednesday evening as part of a fundraiser for the CHILD Foundation. Each year they perform an amazing show at this free family event in different cities throughout British Columbia.

SnowbirdsThis year, "Snowbirds Fly for CHILD" took place over White Rock Beach on Aug. 6.

The CHILD Foundation supports children, families and adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and liver disorders (visit www.child.ca for more information).
