UPDATE: The Surrey RCMP reported today that Trina Bird and Terrance Desnomie were located “unharmed in the Vancouver area” at about 12:30 a.m. July 8 and “as the investigation is ongoing, no further information will be provided at this time.”
Surrey RCMP are looking for a victim and a person of interest after witnesses reported seeing a woman being “forcibly confined” in a small black car in Whalley Thursday morning.
The “suspicious occurrence” happened near 108th Avenue and King George Boulevard at approximately 11:30 a.m. on July 5, police say.
Surrey RCMP are concerned for the well-being of the victim, who they have identified as 40-year-old Trina Bird.
Bird is described as First Nations, 5’6” tall, 190 lbs, with long black hair that may be dyed pink, and brown eyes.
Police are also looking for a person of interest that they’ve identified as 41-year-old Terrance Desnomie.
Desnomie is described as First Nations, 5’9” tall, 196 lbs, with black hair, a moustache, stubble, and brown eyes.
Surrey RCMP also hope the public can help them locate a vehicle in connection to the case. Police are looking for a black 2015 Nissan Versa, bearing a B.C. licence plate of FE2 30D (pictured below).
