A report of "a patient causing some issues and making threats" to health-care staff sent police racing to Peace Arch Hospital Wednesday.
White Rock RCMP Sgt. Joel Glen said officers responded with "lights and sirens" to the hospital around noon Feb. 10, following the call regarding an incident in the hospital's psychiatric ward.
It was quickly deemed a non-event, he said.
"Nobody was injured and we didn't have to take any action."
