It is with both sadness and joy that we announce the passing of Rudd into the presence of his Lord and Saviour. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Robyn, granddaughters Jennifer (Jim) and Diana, sister Margaret, brother Andy (Eleanor), and many loved nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Marion, sister Eleanor Craig, and brothers Wemyss and Bill.
Rudd was a respected employee of Ingledew's Shoes for 35 years and the well-known manager of their store in Oakridge. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Westminster House for the loving care they gave Dad over the last four years, the nursing staff on 6 North at Peace Arch Hospital, and his family physician, Dr. David Anderson.
A celebration of Rudd's life will be held on Monday, April 16 at Valley View Funeral Home, 14644 72 Avenue, Surrey at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Union Gospel Mission or Daybreak Point Bible Camp (Anvil Island).
