Andras Laszlo "Bondi" Kerekes

February 7, 2005

Andras was taken too early at the age of 37 when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on February 7, 2005 in Springfield, Oregon.

Andras was born in Debrecen, Hungary on April 29, 1967 and came to Canada in 1990.

He is survived by his six-year-old daughter Dawson Andrea Boys-Kerekes, who resides in Surrey; his mother Gabriella Tokaji and stepfather Zolton Ferencze, and sister Gabriella Kerekes, all of whom reside in Debrecen, Hungary; and step-grandmother Elizabeth (Louie) Asztaluous, of Greenwoood, BC.

Andras was affectionately known as "Bondi" by his friends and co-workers and will be sadly missed by them and all his "surrogate" family members whose lives he touched with his generosity and caring ways.

He will always be remembered for his love of cars, but especially the love he had for his daughter Dawson, to whom he devoted all his free time and with whom he was frequently seen out for walks along the beach or at a local sushi restaurant.

A Service to honour Andras' life was held at 2:00 pm, on Sunday, February 13, 2005 at Victory Memoral park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey, with viewing from 1-2 pm.
