In loving memory ~

Arnold, our beloved 54-year-old son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on January 6th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and enduring love. He departed this world peacefully in his sleep.

Born on December 13th, 1969, Arnold was a White Rock/South Surrey native, known for his unwavering compassion and gentle spirit. He was the son world renowned sculptor Arnold Mikelsons, and his wife Mary. He grew up in Surrey, BC where he developed a deep connection to his community.

Arnold dedicated his life to his adventures and his career in construction, making significant contributions to the drywall and steel stud industry. He was widely respected for his achievements and will be remembered for his impact and contributions to the construction industry in the lower mainland.

Known for his generosity and humour he touched the lives of many. His smile could lighten up any room, and his laughter was contagious. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and understood. In his free time, Arnold enjoyed diving, traveling, baseball and football finding joy in any adventure. His zest for life was infectious, and his enthusiasm inspired those around him to embrace each day with passion. Arnold faced his health challenges with remarkable courage and his resilience and determination in the face of adversity were truly commendable as he fought everyday against his health issues.

Arnold is predeceased by his father and survived by his mother, 3 sisters, and a large extended family here in Canada and in Hungary. He was a dedicated "pawrent" and is predeceased by his adored canine companions Odin and Freyja. The void left by his departure will be felt deeply by all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.

A memorial service to celebrate Arnold's life will be held on January 19th at Victory Memorial Park 14831 28 Ave. Funeral Service 1-2pm with the burial and reception to follow immediately after. Join our shared space where we can share memories and support one another.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration to all whose lives were touched by Arnold.
