December 7, 1949 - March 19, 2023
We lost our beautiful angel on March 19, 2023 unexpectedly.
Betty was born on December 7, 1949 in New Westminster to parents George and Tina Bawtinheimer.
She is survived by her son Dwain, granddaughter Zoe, sister Linda (late Larry) and brother Gary (Aldeana) and numerous extended family members.
She was predeceased by her son Shain, baby sister Tina Ann and her parents.
Betty graduated from Queen Elizabeth High School and then went on to have a rewarding career with Coast Capital Savings (formerly Surrey Credit Union) for 43 years. During those years she upgraded her accounting skills to become a valuable employee.
She was the kindest, gentlest, humble, generous person one could meet. Her generosity was evident by her volunteer work for the Cloverdale Rodeo, Cops for Cancer, Aldergrove Fair, Langley Days Parade, Chilliwack Childrens' Fair among others.
She enjoyed gardening, caring for her house, and travelling with family.
