It is with great sadness the family of
Beverly Anne Reid announces her passing at the Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, B.C. on June 17, 2007 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born In Lantz, N.S. September 29, 1943, she was the second daughter of Kenneth and Helen Isenor. Bev retired from Maritime Tel in 1994. Following her retirement she served on the Stewiacke Town Council.
Besides her mother, Helen MacLean, Enfield, N.S., she is survived by her husband Robert, White Rock, B.C., daughter Dana (Warren) Robertson, Halifax and son Trevor Forbes, White Rock, B.C., sisters Inez (Herb) Nelson, Caledonia, N.S., Susan (Jerry) McGuire, Lantz, N.S., Catherine (Ernie) Ledwidge, Enfield, N.S., brother Martin (Cathy), Dutch Settlement, N.S., Vernon (Sheila), Burlington, ON, Victor, Shubenacadie, N.S., Peter, Elmsdale, N.S., Graham, Winnipeg, MB, 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, Bob's children Delanne (Peter) Young, Surrey, B.C., Darren, Flin Flon, MB, and his grandsons, Keaton and Kyler. Besides her father, Kenneth Isenor, she was predeceased by her first
husband, Vince (Bub) Forbes. Cremation has taken place. We wish to express sincere appreciation to all the staff from the Fraser Health Home Care service and particularly Dr. Brenda Hefford for their superior support and detailed attention during the past few weeks. There will be a memorial service to remember Bev on Thursday, June 21, at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 240 (Crescent Beach), 2643 - 128 Street, Surrey, B.C. at 3PM. Donations in Beverly's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
