Bradley Andrew Dean

August 29, 1983 – November 6, 2016

Taken from us far too soon, Brad’s life will forever remain a testament of achievement on all levels. Brad was an accomplished musician, academic, athlete, teacher and business man, but his greatest accomplishment was how deeply he touched other’s lives. His booming voice and laughter, his magnificent smile, his amazing intellect, his eternal optimism and his ability to see the best in everyone he met, brought out the best in each of us. He was sensitive, kind and compassionate. Brad's passions were books, music, skiing, baseball and most recently cycling, where in a very short time he became a champion. Family and friends meant the world to Brad and often it was hard to distinguish between the two. He and his brother Nathan were the best of friends, and so many of his friends he considered to be brothers and sisters. His wife Adele was at the center of his life, and their future plans together were vast. Brad’s closeness with his parents extended far beyond the family home, he was business partner with his Dad, Tom, and his deep connection with his Mom, Lianne was undeniable. Bradley left this world as quickly as he entered it. His time with us will be forever cherished! Bradley is survived by his wife Adele Esnault-Dean, brother Nathan Dean, parents Lianne and Tom Dean, Grandparents Charlie and Bunty Dean, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He is preceded by his Grandma and Papa, Robert and Pauline Gourlay. A Celebration of Life will be held at Victory Memorial Park in South Surrey, Friday November 18, at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Prostate Cancer Research or the Burnaby Velodrome Club would be gratefully appreciated.
