It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Brian Balkau at his home on March 19, 2018.
Brian is survived by his wife Betty, his four children Susan, Tony, Darlene, Darryl and his seven grandchildren.
In 1973 Brian started a family owned moving business in White Rock called B & B Mobile Services which is still a successful moving business in White Rock / South Surrey after 45 years. Brian loved the ocean and the outdoors and will be remembered by many for his love of crabbing in Birch Bay and his large camp fires while camping.
He enjoyed going for walks along the White Rock Promenade and sitting in his car overlooking the beautiful ocean while reading the newspaper.
Brian was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and had a strong bond with his creator knowing that he would be resurrected one day on a paradise earth. Brian will be greatly missed by all who knew him in the community and by all of those who's lives he touched.
No memorial service will be held as per Brian's humble request.
