September 19, 1942 - December 3, 2020
Peacefully Brian left us after a brief illness early December 3rd at home in White Rock with his family nearby.
Brian was born in Vancouver, B.C. but grew up in North Surrey with his brother Rob and his loving parents Leggrettia and Leonard Brown. After his school days he went into a 5 year Automotive Apprenticeship then proudly received his Red Seal automotive technician's papers in 1968.
Later on in 1980, along with his family, he started a local well known small business called Brian Brown's Auto-Tech Clinic Ltd. Brian served his community with integrity, kindness and expertise till he retired in 2015.
Brian's passion for cars made his day! In the early days you could see him building a quarter midget for his boys and later on tuning and building drag race cars for the kids. We knew him as MacGyver because he could fix just about anything and it would just him to freely share his knowledge with his peers.
He loved fly fishing and RVing which took him and his wife on many adventures. While holidaying in Hawaii and Mexico was fun, the biggest adventure was his trip to Australia where he and his wife happily explored its entire East Coast.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, DawnMarie of 51 years and his sons, Sean (Kayla and Jason), Chad, and daughter Susanne (Jack and Brooke), Brother Rob (Evelyn) and their family, his many cousins, extended family members and close friends.
Brian will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date due to Covid.
