She initially taught in Soda Creek, B.C., transferring to Surrey School District where she taught at various schools. After 30+ years teaching in Surrey, she retired from her E.S.L. position at Creekside Elementary.
Chris was a unique person - brilliant, funny, loving, a devoted friend to many, physically active, and environmentally and politically conscious. She was an avid traveler who enjoyed learning from her global experiences.
