D. Margaret Woodley RN

In Loving Memory ~
D. Margaret Woodley RN was the love of my life, best Mom, Grand Mother, Sister and Friend. Margaret left this world on June 23, 2022, at age 74. Margaret is at peace after six years of battle with Alzheimer's.
Margaret was born and raised in Nanaimo. After graduating from Grade 13, she realized her dream, being accepted into the Royal Columbian School of Nursing. A member of the 70A class, Margaret graduated with her RN.
Margaret was a quiet private person, always up for a family adventure. She started her life with David in Whitehorse, Y.T (where Kevin arrived), followed by Langley; Parksville (where Jordan came); Kelowna before settling in Ocean Park, S. Surrey. Margaret's nursing career spanned Whitehorse General Hospital to Fraser Health and on the home IV start-up team ending in Elder Care.
Margaret loved the ocean, having spent her summers at Piper's Lagoon. Margaret's last adventure with David was learning how to sail. Together on RShack Island, they sailed the east coast of Vancouver Island from Victoria to Port McNeil.
Margaret is survived by David, her husband and Mate of 52+ years; sons Kevin and Jordan; Sisters Joan and Diana: Daughter-in-laws Stephanie lam and Theresa (TC); and four beautiful / Handsome Grand Children, Maddy, David, Olivia (Livy) and Morgan.
A memorial will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Harvard Gardens Rowing Club, Great Room. The address is 15100 -33 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. V3S 0L3.
Guests are requested to park in the Keg public lot at 15180 - 32nd Avenue, Surrey, B.C., across the street and a short walk to the Rowing Club.
The family has requested that instead of Flowers, Donations be made in Margaret's Name To Alzheimer's Society of BC and directed to Surrey Branch.
