April 8, 1945 - July 17, 2018
Dave departed on the 17th of July after a brief but valiant battle with cancer, in which he

exhibited the wisdom and fortitude that those who loved him most witnessed throughout the length of his seventy-three years. He leaves behind the love of his life, Debbie Falconer, his wife of more than forty-one years, as well as many children and grandchildren who will forever be touched by the uncompromising capacity of his caring.

Dave had strong roots in the community of Ocean Park, where he built houses on the

land once settled by his grandfather Ben Stevenson. He was a man of great intellect

and idealism, with a deep appreciation of books and music, who carried the hippie spirit

of the 60's throughout his life.

He loved baseball. He loved the ocean. He loved to walk through the land he knew so well and gaze upon the trees and birds that nested within them. He loved life, and his absence shall be keenly felt by all those he leaves behind.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church at 2 pm on Friday August 10th.
