Dax Alexander Carlson passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the age of 34 years.

Dax was born in Edmonton on October 28, 1975. He was a journeyman in sheet metal, Ironwork Local 72 and Powerline Tech. He grew up in White Rock, BC and Alberta Beach, moved to Red Deer in 1999, then to Airdrie in 2006 and finally to Canmore in 2009. Dax loved being outside and spending time with his two beautiful daughters, Delia and Darien, enjoying life.

Besides his loving girlfriend Lisa Hill, Dax is survived by his friend and mother of his children Dawnie Carlson; and his daughters, Delia (age 9) and Darien (age 6). He is also survived by his mother Kathy Carlson (Dwayne) of Langley, BC; father Lyle Carlson (Elaine) of Edmonton; sisters, Nikki Hallett (Robbie) of Aldergrove, BC and Lexsys Carlson of Edmonton; grandmother Alethia Beaton of Langley, BC; and by many loving friends and family. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, John Beaton and Alfred Carlson.
