Donald John Malone, 87, of Surrey BC, peacefully passed away on January 9, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Don was born in Fredericton, NB in 1936 to Anna Mae (McLaughlin) and Jack Malone.
His life took him from Stanley, to Fredericton, to Halifax, to Saint John, to Richmond, to Oak Bay and finally to South Surrey. He passed away in White Rock BC. He spent 35 years working at Air Canada, the source of many great experiences and friendships.
Don is survived by his wife, Joan (Waddelow), and three sons; Todd, Grant and Craig; four grandchildren (Jeanie, Abby, Jack, and Megan) and one great-granddaughter (Willow).
A service will be held at a future date.
The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at the Al Hogg Pavilion for taking such good care of Donald as he wrestled with his dementia.
