DONALD JOSEPH MACKENZIE
Passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007 in White Rock, BC and was born on December 26, 1922 in Vancouver, BC. Donald will be missed by his wife Nina, of 60 years and nephew Terry (Anne) Garnier, Great nephews Chris (Teresa), Derek, Don (Maya) Garnier. He was a former Scout Master and Commissioner in Vancouver District. Donald served overseas with the Royal Canadian Army in W. W. II. He worked for B.C. Bearing Engineers for 30 years. He moved to South Surrey in 1984 where he was active at Kent Street Activity Center. A special thanks to Patrick Butler, Don's caregiver for the last 4 years and we are most grateful for Dr. Bryan Prentice's care and attention. A memorial service will be held at Sunnyside United Church, 15639-24 Avenue, Surrey, BC on Wednesday, September 26 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Donald's memory to a charity of your choice would be apprecaited.
