THOMPSON, Dorothy (Dot) of White Rock passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17th at Morgan Place Care Home, after a courageous battle with Alzheimers. Dot was very active, and proficient at Lawn Bowling in the Spring and Summer, and outdoor Shuffleboard and Golf in the Fall and Winter in Palm Springs, where she spent her Winters with husband Wilf. Dot and Wilf were married in October, 1994, after both were widowed in previous marriages. She was born in Eatonia, Saskatchewan on April 19th, 1923. She joined the Royal Canadian Air Force during the second World War, and later lived and worked in Vancouver before moving to White Rock in 1991. She will be greatly missed by her husband and his family, her friends and relatives in Alberta & Saskatchewan, and the friends she made in B.C. No service by request. If so desired, a Memorial Remembrance may be made in the form of a donation to the Charity of one's choice.
