June 24, 1953 - May 11, 2024

Bryan passed away peacefully on May 11th surrounded by family and most importantly his loving wife Anne.

Bryan will be greatly missed by Anne, their sons Cameron (Jennifer), Darren (Sylvie), and Ethan; beloved grandchildren Emmett, Kalan, Owen, and Avery; brothers Andrew (Alison) and John; and a host of friends and relatives.

Born in Wallasey England Bryan's family emigrated to Vancouver when he was a young child. He grew up in Marpole, graduated from McGee high school and the University of British Columbia. There he studied forestry before finding his calling in medicine.

It was in first year linear algebra that he met the love of his life Anne, they married in1975. In 1980 they celebrated Bryan's graduation from medical school along with the arrival of their first child. Bryan's medical training took them to Boston where they welcomed two more sons, then Calgary, before finally settling in White Rock in 1985.

Bryan enjoyed a fulfilling 32 year career serving his community working at Peace Arch Hospital in the areas of maternity, emergency medicine, anesthesia and the running of his Ocean Park Family Practice. His dedication to his patients was surpassed only by his love for his family.

He enjoyed camping holidays, music, adventures in nature, and simple family gatherings. Bryan leaves behind memories of love, dedication, compassion, and a commitment to people, community and service. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Peach Arch Hospital Foundation.

A celebration of life will be held June 24th between 2-4pm at Kwomais Park Lodge, 1367 128 Street, Surrey, BC.
