Eric faded quietly from this realm on December 10 of this year, with his wife of 66 years at his side, singing to him gently.
Born in 1925 in Souris, Prince Edward Island, he moved to West Vancouver with his family shortly after, living there until moving to Coquitlam to open an Optometric office in Guildford.
After retiring, he and his wife moved to South Surrey, where they have lived since. He had a life well lived, being able to travel extensively, and thoroughly enjoy life with his family and his friends of 8 decades.
He is survived by his wife, Myra, brother Ralph, children Laurence and Kathryn, and grandchildren Alexis, Daniel, and Andrew.
His life was dedicated to helping others, and did so with faith, humour, and humility.
