Estelle Westgard (nee Michaud)

September 16, 1940 - January 8, 2020
A happy life has come to an end. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend, Estelle Westgard following a courageous four year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Estelle was born to Charles and Isabelle Michaud in Gravelbourg, SK and at an early age moved to BC where she grew up in Maillardville. She met the love of her life, Gordon Westgard (deceased May 2010), in New Westminster where they married and spent 50 happy years together raising their family in North Delta and in later years settling in South Surrey.
Estelle leaves behind three children, Colleen (Jef), Chuck (Tanyce), Carrie (Craig); eight beloved grandchildren, Calvin, Chiara, Tayla, Tanelle, Toryce, Ty, Scott and Brett; her three brothers, Roger (Audrey), Richard (Ann), Fernand (Sis); four sisters, Edna (Jim), Diane (Fritz), Cecil (Emile), and Terry (Kelly) as well as many more family members and friends.
She was a caring and devoted person whose family meant everything to her, and she to them. She will be dearly missed and in our hearts forever. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 1 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society in memory of Estelle and Gordon Westgard.
