Evelyn MacDonald of Breakaway Bays, was "promoted to glory" as she passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital on May 22nd, 2019, following a lengthy illness, with her son at her bedside.
A strong-willed, loving and caring person all of her life, Evelyn enjoyed helping others, in whatever situations. She will be missed and forever remembered by her son, John (Jack), family, friends, and that special someone in her life, "Danny".
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Mervin, and her parents Robert and Mary Bryce of White Rock. Evelyn requested that no funeral be held on her passing, and in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the White Rock Corps of the Salvation Army - 15417 Roper Avenue.
Her son John would like to thank the staff of the Peace Arch Hospital for their caring, as well as Commanders, Carlos and Eva Galvez, and the congregation of the White Rock Salvation Army for their love, and support in the last few days of her life.
