DEWAR: Freda Evangeline (nee Haddad). Born 8th June, 1910 in Mission, BC, died 7th March, 2004 in Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock. After marrying the man of her life, the late William Dewar, in Merritt, B.C. she lived many years in Victoria, BC where she was a longtime member of the I.O.D.E., a store department manager, and an avid dancer, skater, golfer and outdoors person. Remembered fondly by daughter Gloria and husband Harold, granddaughter Susan Murphy, grandson Maurice Murphy, and two great grandsons Tim and Jason Murphy and their mother Kathy. Also well remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Cremation. Private celebration of Freda's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
