It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Shepherd. He was born in New Westminster and lived most of his life in Surrey.
He was a partner in Shepherd Brothers Equipment from 1950 to 1990. The firm was a wholesale and retail farm equipment company located in Surrey. It was established by his father Ben and his uncle Len Shepherd in 1930. Gordon retired in 1990 then spent a lot of time at his hobby ranch near Ashcroft.
Gordon enjoyed his walks, classic country music, collecting farm equipment artifacts, rye whiskey and reminiscing about "the good old days."
Gordon is predeceased by his father Ben, his mother Margaret, his brother David and his son William.
He is survived by his loving wife Eileen, his sister Judy (Duane) Buchanan. 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. Romni (Brian) Brendan and Alex Carrigan. Stephanie, Paul, Rachel and Kaity Davies.
