Passed away peacefully on September 29th, at 59 years of age. Survived by his mother, Connie Phillips West & predeceased by his father, Fred Phillips. He also leaves behind his beloved brother, Danny (Michelle), nieces Randi (Derek), Ashley (Dusan), great-niece, Greya, & great-nephew, Kingsley, step-father, Carl West, many cousins, aunts & uncles. Grant had many friends but two special life long friends were Jack Langston & Rob Delaney.
Grant was the photographer in the family, a movie & music lover, an electronic guru, & cared about all animals. Nothing meant more to Grant than family gatherings & parties.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of one's choice in memory of Grant.
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." Grant lived his life with many memorable moments.
