Helen was born and raised in Mt. Lehman, B.C., and was the last surviving sibling of the Israel/Dennison Pioneer families. After completing nursing school Mom worked as a nurse at Vancouver General and Children's Hospitals until the time Mom and Dad started their family. Mom enjoyed jumbled word puzzles, canning and baking. Her Valentine's Day cookies were AMAZING! Helen was pre-deceased by her husband Henry and son-in-law Olly. She is survived by daughters Linda, Cheryl (Steve), son Brent (Sandra) and was a loving Nana to Stina, Christopher, Devon, Brett, Brandon, Gordie. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
For the last 2 years, Helen lived at Suncrest Retirement Community and the family would like to thank the nursing staff for the loving care and kindness shown to her.
