Hermann was bon on April 19, 1922 in Kleefeld, Germany, and completed his life's journey on April 21, 2004, in the Peace Arch Hosptial after a valiant fight against Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was predeceased by wis wife, Helen, parents Mr. and Mrs. Hermann Johan Kayser and one brother, Gustav.
Herman will be dearly missed by his wife Arlean, daughter Carol Joyce Stobbe (Jake), granddaugher Crystal and grandson James, chosen sons, Gary Kits and Gordon Kits (Michele) chosen granddaugher Brittany Arlean, and chosen grandson Ethan Patrick. He is also survived by his sister Minni, one brother Arthur (Adeline), sister-in-law Lois, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 28, 2004, at 2 p.m. at the Peace Portal Alliance Church, 15128 - 28th Ave, Surrey, B.C. V4P 1P2
