Went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lovingly remembered by her family; life partner Garry, children; Steven, Scott, Susan, Shawn (Father - Ken Slack) and Sonia (Daughter of Gerry), grandchildren; Steven, David, Mariah, Doug, Tina, Cecil, Sasha, Kaitlyn, Emily, Madeline and Alex, great-grandchildren, Daniel, Deanna, Jessy, Joseph, Ryanna & Kylie, son-in-law, Cecil and Robbie, daughter-in-laws, Carol, Alison and Lee and sisters Betty, Mona and Shirley as well as many other family and friends.
Marie left a legacy of love being a wonderful example of selflessness and compassion.
At her request, Marie will be honoured at a family "Celebration of Life".
