Inga Gray

Inga was born on July 27, 1909 and passed away peacefully on September 29, 2003 in her 94th year. Born in Southey Saskatchewan, Inga was educated in Saskatchewan and graduated from business College. She was employed by T. Eaton’s as a Department Manager for many years and then moved on to R.H. Williams as a Purchasing Agent.

Inga was very active in all kinds of sports, especially in basketball and baseball as a pitcher. She loved to play the organ and was a lead vocalist on the radio in the 1930’s. She met John W. Gray in 1937 and they were married on November 30, 1950. They had no children, but they spent their lives together travelling the world and finally settled in White Rock in 1972.

Inga is survived by her husband of almost 53 years, John and many nieces and nephews, and other relatives scattered across the country.

At Inga’s request there will be no service. We would like to thank all the staff at Evergreen Baptist Home for the loving care and attention they gave to Inga during her stay.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
