STEWART, Irene. Irene Stewart of White Rock, BC, passed away peacefully January 15, 2013 at the age of 102. Irene was much loved by her family and friends for countless reasons, including her generous spirit, sharp mind and sense of humour. Irene's determination and strength of character allowed her to excel both professionally and personally. She was employed by the Provincial Government for 47 years and became the Superannuation Benefits Manager in Victoria long before women were given such opportunities. She was an avid archer, tennis player and horseback rider. Irene lived life to the fullest and she has given us much to aspire to.
She will be greatly missed!
